Book Detail

I set out on mission trips in 2013 and 2014 to serve the people of Haiti. My church organized the trips where 15-20 volunteers were able to be the hands and feet of Jesus. It was an effort to support the country after the massive earthquake that occurred in 2010.

We painted homes, planted trees and visited some of the villages to love on people and share God's word with them. We interacted with the children in villages, loving on them and they loved us back!

The organization that we served offered Vacation Bible School during the week. It was amazing to interact with the children. They responded as though they knew us.

I happened to meet a young leader who assisted the organization we partnered with, translating for the mission teams during their stay. He was passionate about children and his country as a whole. 

The book speaks to these experiences while in Haiti and the amazing events that followed after my journey.
